H2O Classiness. - Me

I write what I know, which is pretty much everything under the sun. I'm a James-of-all-trades, but currently I am most interested in music, film, politics, and creative writing. As far as music goes, I'm a bit of a fanatic. I listen to everything (and I mean it) and attend shows regularly; it's a great way to meet new people and extraordinary artists. I also compose music and am involved in any of three bands; a Rock Band-based rock band, a pop rock band, and my solo project which is currently a post-rock operation. I've recently gotten into the habit of collecting vinyl records, and I already might be in the triple digits, which is great for everything except my wallet...

In the film department, I am a potential film major at Bard College and although I am fairly new to the world of film, I am an avid moviegoer and an amatuer filmmaker. I have directed, written and acted in multiple projects on both film and digital video, and I currently have two major films in the works. My first short film, "Star-Nosed Moles on a Sailboat", was filmed for a [Blanks] on a [Blank] competition in homage to "Snakes on a Plane", and it won the competition.

As for writing creatively, I have been writing prose fiction for about three years now, and although I have never been published, this was mostly my choice (there was a time when I was very shy about sharing my work). I have many short stories in production, but only five completed ones that I am at all comfortable bragging about. In addition to my short stories, I have four novel ideas which I started at various points in the past year and am slowly working on to completion.

Finally, I try to maintain a number of blogs. Links to other sites where I actively contribute will be included at the bottom of my profile.
